I picked up a b-3 and a t-3 from a guy that used to race there, any set up tips would be great (mostly motor and speed control). I know they are older but I have them so I will race them.

13.5 is a good choice as that is the most popular truck class , sometimes they run mod truck .

For buggy I`d go with 8.5 to run in mod buggy .

If you can afford it I`d go with Tekin systems . The adjustability and power is amazing . You don`t need the pro version as you won`t see the difference for off-road . There are always some good deals on RC Tech if you don`t/cant buy new .

Thanks, I am rethinking the buggy beacuse I haven't raced in a long time. I might run the t-3 isn't there a stock truck class?

Stock had faded out for most tracks years ago when 19T motors came out and became popular . Then when brushless became popular . 13.5 brushless / 19T brushed is the truck class with some exceptions of running mod once and a while .

I would start racing truck first until you get the feel of things again and then race buggy .
