Just wondering where to get a copy of the rules for the classes. My son and I have been there for a couple of weeks and he wants to start racing. Which brings me to my next question do you still have a novice class and what can they race in it?

I`m not sure there is any sheet of rules to get a copy of . Novice class has always race what you bring . Can race any 1/10 r/c car/truck , any motor , and believe any battery . Not sure about the Novice class .

To get the correct answers and get them faster call the track and ask them . 815-722- 1330 or you can call the hobby shop and ask for Scott - 815-439-1477

What R/C vehicle does he have ? If for some reason enough don`t show for a Novice class he could be put in another class . Since you been there a few times I`m sure you have seen this is a very friendly atmosphere and most will help out in any way .

We are both going to race, I used to race years ago when I worked at Arlington Hobbies. We have a B-3, T-3, brushless Slash and a 4x4 Slash. He has really gotten into it and always marshels when he is not driving, I have to drag him away when it is time to go home.

Sounds good ! Look forward to seeing you guys at the track . If it is possible for to you come race on a few Wed nights first as there is usually less people there and he won`t be intimidated . Good to hear the amount of interest your son has in the hobby .
